Earlier this month, a meeting in Nizhny Novgorod between Russian government ministers of industry, energy and transport, regional leaders and the director general of OJSC Kamaz, Sergey Kogogin, took place to promote natural gas as a motor fuel in regions of the Volga Federal District. The intention was to organize a real process of development and implementation of complex regional programs on promotion of the use of natural gas for transportation.车用减压器
In view of the decree of the Russian Federation Government planned to be adopted this year to subsidize users of natural gas-powered vehicles (NGVs), one of key issues discussed at the meeting was revision of regional budgets. Addressing the meeting on the company’s NGVs and their advantages – efficiency and eco-friendliness, Sergey Kogogin emphasized that the developed network of NGV refueling stations was the basic condition for widening the use of gas-powered vehicles therefore it was necessary to build and reconstruct a larger number of stations than it had been planned.
“Meanwhile, OJSC KAMAZ is implementing a program to develop NGV service in the region: 17 service centers are ready to operate,” he noted.
In the final part of the meeting, bilateral agreements on cooperation in the NGV sector were signed by OJSC KAMAZ and the Udmurt and Chuvash Republics and Samara Oblast.Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District.
