Central and eastern Europe the transit of natural gas mainly depends on long-term contracts, however, because the buyer can easily Commodity Exchange to buy gas from Germany, long-term import contract has not been important more and more.
Currently, the Czech gas comes mainly from Russia, and a small portion comes from Norway. Czech hope through the natural gas supply contracts with Norway can reduce its reliance on Russia's single market, however, because of the natural gas provided by Russia and Norway on the parameters is different, each other can't be a direct replacement, the natural gas from Russia is still cover the whole consumer market, the Czech republic.
